ഹിംയരി പറഞ്ഞു തുടങ്ങി. വളരെ പ്രത്യാശ നൽകുന്ന വാർത്തയാണത്. ഏറെ ആശ്ചര്യപൂർണമായ വർത്തമാനമാണ്. ഒരു മാസം മുമ്പ് നിങ്ങളുടെ നാട്ടിൽ ഒരു വിശുദ്ധ വ്യക്തിത്വത്തെ അല്ലാഹു അവന്റെ ദൂതനായി നിയോഗിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ ഇഷ്ടമിത്രമാണവിടുന്ന്. ഒരു വിശുദ്ധ ഗ്രന്ഥവും ആ പ്രവാചകന് അവതരിച്ചു കിട്ടിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. വിഗ്രഹ പ്രതിഷ്ഠകളെ അവിടുന്ന് തടയും. സത്യം പ്രബോധനം ചെയ്യും. സത്യസന്ധത പാലിക്കും. തിന്മയിൽ നിന്ന് വിട്ടു നിൽക്കുകയും തിന്മക്കെതിരെ പ്രവർത്തിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും. ഇസ്‌ലാമിലേക്ക് ക്ഷണിക്കും. ഞാൻ ചോദിച്ചു, അതാരാണ്? ഏത് കുടുംബത്തിൽ നിന്നാണാ പ്രവാചകൻ? അപ്പോൾ ഹിംയരി പറഞ്ഞു.
അസദ്, സുമാല, സർവ്വ്, തബാല ഗോത്രത്തിൽ നിന്നൊന്നുമല്ല. ഹാഷിം സന്തതികളിൽ നിന്നാണ് ആ പ്രവാചകൻ വന്നിട്ടുള്ളത്. അപ്പോൾ നിങ്ങൾ അവരുടെ അമ്മാവന്മാരിൽ പെടും. ഓ അബ്ദുർ റഹ്മാൻ താങ്കൾ വേഗം നാട്ടിലേക്ക് മടങ്ങുക. നല്ല നിലയിൽ ആ വ്യക്തിത്വത്ത സമീപിക്കുക. സ്വന്തക്കാരനായി മാറുക. വേണ്ടവിധത്തിൽ സഹായിക്കുക. കണ്ടുമുട്ടുമ്പോൾ എന്റെയൊരാശംസ അവിടുത്തേക്കു അറിയിക്കുക. ശേഷം, അദ്ദേഹം പ്രവാചകരെ വന്ദിച്ചും സ്വാഗതം ചെയ്തും കവിതയാലപിച്ചു.
അബ്ദുർറഹ്മാൻ ബിൻ ഔഫ് പറയുന്നു. ഞാൻ ആ കവിത വിട്ടുപോകാതെ ഓർത്തു വച്ചു. എന്റെ വ്യാപാരാവശ്യങ്ങൾ വേഗം പൂർത്തിയാക്കി. നാട്ടിലേക്ക് മടങ്ങി. നാട്ടിലെത്തിയ ഉടനെ ആത്മമിത്രം അബൂബക്കറിനെ കണ്ടുമുട്ടി. ഞാൻ വിവരങ്ങൾ പങ്കുവെച്ചു. കാര്യങ്ങൾ അന്വേഷിച്ചു. അപ്പോഴദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു. നമ്മുടെ പ്രിയങ്കരനായ മുഹമ്മദ് ബിൻ അബ്ദില്ലാഹ് ﷺ പ്രവാചകത്വം പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. അങ്ങനെ ഞാൻ പ്രവാചകനെത്തേടിയിറങ്ങി. ഖദീജ(റ)യുടെ വീട്ടിലെത്തി. കുറച്ചു സ്നേഹിതർക്കൊപ്പം അതായിരിക്കുന്നു മുഹമ്മദ് ﷺ. വിടർന്ന പുഞ്ചിരിയോടെ എന്നെ സ്വാഗതം ചെയ്തു. തുടർന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. നന്മയെ സ്വീകരിക്കാൻ യോഗ്യനായ ഒരാളാണെയാണല്ലോ നിങ്ങളുടെ മുഖത്ത് കാണുന്നത്. താങ്കളുടെ കൂടെ എന്തൊക്കെയുണ്ട്?
ആശ്ചര്യത്തോടെ ഞാൻ ആരാഞ്ഞു. എന്താണങ്ങനെ ചോദിക്കുന്നത്? അവിടുന്ന് തുടർന്നു. എനിക്കെത്തിച്ചു തരാനുള്ള ഒരു സവിശഷമായ സന്ദേശവുമായിട്ടല്ലേ താങ്കൾ വന്നിട്ടുള്ളത്? ഇത് കേട്ടപ്പോൾ എനിക്ക് ആവേശമായി. ഞാൻ സംഭവങ്ങളും സന്ദേശവുമെല്ലാം വിവരിച്ചു കൊടുത്തു. അപ്പോൾ അവിടുന്ന് പറഞ്ഞു. അൽ ഹിംയരി ഒരു വിശേഷപ്പെട്ട വ്യക്തിയാണ്. എന്നെ ഞാനറിയാതെ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്ന എത്രയെത്ര ആളുകൾ. എന്നെ ഒരിക്കൽ പോലും കാണാതെ വിശ്വസിച്ചംഗീകരിക്കുന്ന എത്രയോ പേർ. അവർ യഥാർത്ഥത്തിൽ എന്റെ സഹോദരങ്ങളാണ്.
ഇബ്നു ഔഫ് പ്രവാചക അനുയായി ആയി മാറി. ബുസ്റാ പട്ടണത്തിൽ നിന്നുള്ള വർത്തമാനം കൂടി നമുക്ക് വായിക്കാം. മക്കയിലെ പ്രമുഖ വ്യാപാരിയായ ത്വൽഹത് ബിൻ ഉബൈദില്ലാഹ് പറയുകയാണ്. പ്രവാചക നിയോഗ സമയത്ത് ഞാൻ ബുസ്വ്‌റാ നഗരത്തിലായിരുന്നു. അവിടുത്തെ ജൂത ദേവാലയ സമുഛയത്തിൽ നിന്ന് ഒരു വിളംബരം കേട്ടു. വ്യാപാരോത്സവത്തിൽ എത്തിച്ചേർന്നവരേ.. ശ്രദ്ധിക്കുക. ഹറം ദേശത്തുകാരായ ആരെങ്കിലും ഇവിടെ നഗരത്തിലുണ്ടോ? ഞാനങ്ങോട്ട് നടന്നു ചെന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. ഞാൻ ഹറം ദേശത്തുകാരനാണ്. എന്തിനാണ് അന്വേഷിച്ചത്? ദേവാലയത്തിലെ ജൂത പുരോഹിതൻ പറഞ്ഞു തുടങ്ങി. അല്ല, അഹ്‌മദ് പ്രവാചകൻ രംഗ പ്രവേശനം ചെയ്തോ? അഹ്‌മദോ? അതാരാ? ഞാൻ ചോദിച്ചു.
അദ്ദേഹം തുടർന്നു. അബ്ദുൽ മുത്വലിബിന്റെ പുത്രൻ അബ്ദുല്ല എന്നവരുടെ മകൻ അഹ്‌മദ്. ആ വാഗ്ദത്ത പ്രവാചകൻ രംഗ പ്രവേശനം ചെയ്യുന്ന മാസമിതാണ്. അന്ത്യ പ്രവാചകനാണവിടുന്ന്. ഹറം ദേശത്ത് നിന്നാണ് ഉദയം ചെയ്യുക. ഈത്തപ്പനകൾ നിറഞ്ഞ ദേശത്തേക്ക് പലായനം നടത്തും. നിങ്ങൾ വേഗം മക്കയിലേക്ക് മടങ്ങിക്കോളൂ. മറ്റുള്ളവരേക്കാൾ മുമ്പേ നിങ്ങൾ ആ പ്രവാചകനെ അനുഗമിക്കുക.
തൽഹത് പറയുകയാണ്. ആ വാക്കുകൾ എന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തിൽ പതിഞ്ഞു. ഞാൻ കച്ചവടാവശ്യങ്ങൾ വേഗം പൂർത്തിയാക്കി. നാട്ടിലേക്ക് തിരിച്ചു. യാത്രയിലുടനീളം എന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തിൽ ആ പുരോഹിതന്റെ വാക്കുകളായിരുന്നു.
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى سَيِّدِنٰا مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِهِ وَصَحْبِهِ وَسَلِّمْ

He has also received a holy book. He will prevent idolatry. He will preach the truth. Will work against evil and invite to Islam. I asked. who is that? From which family is the prophet? Then Himyari said.
Not from Asad, Sumala, Sarv, Tabala tribes. That prophetﷺ has come from the progeny of Hashim. Then you will be among their uncles. O Abdur Rahman, hurry back to your country. Approach that personality with due respect. Become his closest friend. Do whatever help he want. Convey my greetings to him when you meet. Then he recited a poem saluting and welcoming the Prophetﷺ.
Abdu Rahman bin Auf(R) says. I memorized that poem without fail. I completed my business deals quickly. Returned to my country. Met my soulmate Abu Bakar(R) as soon as I reached my country. I shared the information. Discussed the matter in detail.. Then he said. Our beloved Muhammad bin Abdullah has announced his prophecy. So I went to the Prophetﷺ. I reached Khadeeja's house. Muhammad ﷺ was there with a few followers. He welcomed me with a wide smile.
He continued. Haven't you come with a special message to convey me? I was excited when I heard this. I narrated all the events and the message. Then he said. Al Himyari is a distinguished person. How many people believe in me without knowing me! How many people believe in me without even seeing me! They are actually my brothers.
Ibn Auf became a follower of the Prophetﷺ
